Sri Chinmoy New Year's Day Half-Marathon
The Sri Chinmoy New Year's Day Half-Marathon is held on January 1, 2027 at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens, New York. The event is a Half-Marathon on a USATF certified, looped course that passes the Unisphere, the Queens Museum of Art and the Fountain of the Planets.
The certified course (NY22047DNB) uses a 0.36-mile start loop followed by ten 1.274-mile main loops, with mile signs and all laps counted. The organisers describe the route as flat and suitable for fast times. There is one main aid station near Race-Day Central offering water and Skratch Hydration, plus aid stations every mile around the course.
Participant amenities include free parking, bag check, custom long sleeve race shirts, custom finisher medals, free finisher photos and a pancake breakfast after the race. Packet shipping is available for an additional fee to receive shirt and bib before the event; on-site packet pickup is offered on race morning.
Entry fees are tiered: $50 through Dec. 4, $58 through Dec. 22 and $65 through Dec. 30. Entries cannot be transferred. The time limit for the course is three hours (minimum pace 13:45 per mile).
