Squatchy Onesiefest 5K
Squatchy Onesiefest 5K is a winter trail event at Ramapo Valley County Reservation on February 14, 2027. The course is a 1.60 mile lollipop loop around Scarlet Oak Pond that is repeated twice for the full 5K; a single loop is offered as a "Fun Run". The route is very flat and scenic, mostly wide gravel and dirt trails with a short singletrack connector under 0.20 miles.
The event is capped at 200 participants and has no time cutoff; the race closes when the last person finishes. Course markings include bright ribbons and large red directional arrows. Parking is in the reservation parking lot and restrooms are available there. No public transit options are listed for arrival.
Included with registration are a bib and safety pins, a handcrafted finishers medal, and access to an aid station stocked with water, Skratch, and snacks. Awards are given to the top three male, female, and nonbinary finishers, with onesie wear required to earn post race awards. Participants are encouraged to wear onesies.
The event offers Trailside Support for adaptive athletes. Guides and pacers for adaptive athletes may race for free and accommodations should be requested in advance.
