Thunderbird Run 2026 : Mahwah Schools Foundation
The Mahwah Schools Foundation presents the Thunderbird Run on November 22, 2026 at Mahwah High School, 50 Ridge Road, Mahwah, NJ. The event includes a timed 5K run, a 2 mile walk that is not timed, a kids run for students in grades K to 5, and an eight week 5K training program.
The 5K run is a timed event. The 2 mile walk will not be timed; participants in the walk will receive numbered bibs to show they have registered. The Kids Run is open to students in grades K to 5, including non Mahwah students. Grades K to 2 complete one lap around the Mahwah High School track (about 0.25 mile). Grades 3 to 5 complete two laps (about 0.50 mile).
Registration windows and fees in the source listing are: registration for the 5K and 2 mile walk opens July 15, 2026 and closes September 30, 2026 with a registration fee of $30. The Kids Run registration opens July 15, 2026 and closes on the event day; the fee is $20. The 5K training program has a separate registration opening in July and a fee of $80.
