Spruce Railroad Run
The Spruce Railroad Run is a road and trail event held on October 3, 2026, on the west side of Port Angeles within Olympic National Park along Lake Crescent. The event offers two race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
The course uses the Spruce Railroad Trail and nearby access points at Lake Crescent. There is no parking at the start or finish area. Participants may be dropped off on the east side of Lyre Bridge on East Beach Road. Shuttle buses are provided for participants and spectators from Joyce; buses run frequently during the event and depart roughly every 15 minutes. A small amount of handicapped parking is available at the Spruce Railroad Trailhead at the end of East Beach.
Packet and bib pickup are associated with the Spruce Railroad Trailhead. Travel and lodging are centered in Port Angeles, Washington, with a listed host hotel in the area. The event materials note available photos and results after the race and provide local travel and lodging information for those attending.
