The Spruce Railroad Run/Walk takes place in Port Angeles, Washington, on Saturday, October 3, 2026, with a virtual option running through December 6, 2026. The event includes the following distances:

- 10K
- Virtual Spruce Railroad Run
The 5K and 10K are out-and-back courses on the Olympic Discovery Trail along Lake Crescent, starting at the Spruce Railroad Trailhead on East Beach Road in Olympic National Park. Both courses have mile markers and a clearly marked turnaround.
Logistics and services
Race bib pick-up is available at the starting area on race morning. There is no parking at the race start; participants may be dropped off at the east side of the Lyre Bridge on East Beach Road. Shuttles run for participants and spectators who park in Joyce, and there is a limited amount of handicapped parking at the Spruce Railroad Trailhead. A bag check is provided and bags may be dropped off before the race and picked up afterward. Volunteers will staff a water and Gatorade station at the 5K and 10K turnarounds.
Official timed results and free professional race photos will be available online after the race. Awards are given to overall male and female finishers and 1st through 3rd place in each age category; recipients must be present to receive awards.
