Great Olympic Peninsula St. Patrick's Day Run / Walk
The Great Olympic Peninsula St. Patrick's Day Run / Walk is an annual event held in Port Angeles, Washington. Now in its seventh year, the event takes place at the Port Angeles Waterfront Pier and City Pier. The race is organized by the Olympic Medical Center Foundation, a non-profit organization, in conjunction with the Red, Set Go Healthy Heart Luncheon.
Participants can choose from three different distances:
- 1 Mile Walk / Run
- 5K Run / Walk
- 10K Run / Walk
The course is located at 121 E Railroad Ave along the waterfront. There is a general time limit of two hours to complete the chosen distance, which accommodates a pace of approximately 20 minutes per mile. All registered participants receive a long-sleeve event shirt, a finisher medal, a race bib, and a goodie bag.
All proceeds from the event benefit the Olympic Medical Heart Center. The event is supported by local healthcare providers and regional facilities, with the primary goal of funding cardiac care through the Olympic Medical Center Foundation. Packet pickup for the live event is available at the Starting Line on the morning of the run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
