Sprint Tri Ponteland
Sprint Tri Ponteland is a pool based sprint triathlon held at Ponteland Leisure Centre on 17 May 2026. The event is organised by Ponteland Tri Club and includes individual and relay entry options. It forms part of the North East Regional Grand Prix and the Northern Trier Race Series.
Entry fees are shown as a range in the event details, with individual entries from approximately £49 to £55 and relay entries from approximately £59 to £65. - 400 m Pool Swim in a 6 lane pool
- 20 km Bike on roads around the surrounding area
- 5 km Run on tarmac and pavement
The event notes early registration on Saturday 17 May from 15:00 to 16:00 and race day registration and transition opening on Sunday from 06:30 to 08:00. Marshals are provided along the course and prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall plus age group positions.
