Ponteland Sprint Triathlon (17 May 2026)
The event takes place at Ponteland Leisure Centre in Great Britain and is organised by Ponteland Tri Club. Race format and distances
- 400 m pool swim (6 lanes)
- 20 km bike around the surrounding area
- 5 km run on tarmac/pavement
Entry and fees
There are individual and relay entry options. Early entry prices are listed as £49 for individuals and £59 for relay teams. Later entry prices are listed as £55 for individuals and £65 for relay teams. Non-BTF members must purchase a BTF Day Race Pass before the event.
Sustainability
The organiser aims to reduce environmental impact. Measures include optional t-shirts made with eco materials, no single-use plastic bottle handouts, water served at the finish in eco-cups, medals made from recycled metal, and wooden trophies.
