Sunderland 10k
The Sunderland 10k takes place along the Roker Seafront, offering a course that features coastal views and sea air. The route is an out-and-back layout consisting of smooth tarmac paths. Participants start at Roker Beach and run along the promenade before completing a lap of the historic Roker Park near the conclusion of the event.
The event supports Children's Cancer North and provides an accurately marked course where each kilometre is indicated by distance flags. Marshals are positioned throughout the route to provide guidance to participants. The venue includes an event village with various food and drink options for attendees.

Each runner receives chip-timed results and access to free race photos following the event. Upon reaching the finish line, participants are presented with a unique themed medal and post-race goodies provided by event partners. Event t-shirts featuring the race logo are also available for purchase.
