Spring Insight 5K
The Spring Insight 5K is held on trails inside Newark Riverfront Park and follows a two-loop route entirely within the park. The course is partially flat with some minor hills and does not route on streets. Water stations are located at the start/finish area and at a mid-course point.
Timing and event services include professional chip timing by Elitefeats and live results delivered via text and email. Runners receive a finisher medal; free professional race photos are provided on the same day. Other on-site amenities listed for the event include a wellness recovery station, marked course, sponsor gifts and giveaways, a live DJ, and a post-run social and networking area.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, and online recognition is provided for age-group categories: 12 and under, 13–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70+.
Bib pickup options are available early at Boi Na Brasa Restaurant, 1 Merchant St, Newark, NJ, and on race day through event staff starting one hour before the event. A personalized bib is provided for registrations completed three or more weeks in advance. Last-minute registrants within 24 hours can receive a bib number by text shortly after registration.
