Spring Insight 5K 2027
Spring Insight 5K is scheduled for May 29, 2027, in Newark at Newark Riverfront Park - Orange Sticks, 727 Raymond Blvd, Newark, NJ. Registration is not yet open and will open ahead of the event date.
The course runs entirely inside Newark Riverfront Park trails. It consists of two loops, is mostly flat with some minor hills, and does not route on streets. The course is marked and includes water stations at the start and finish area and at a mid-course location. Professional chip timing is provided.
Event amenities include live race results sent by text and email, chip timing, personalized bibs for registrations made three or more weeks in advance, a finisher medal for participants, a recovery area, free professional race photos, live music, post-run social and networking activities, wellness resources, and sponsor giveaways.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers. Age-group online recognition is listed for male and female categories: 12 and under, 13–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70 plus.
Bib pickup is available early at Boi Na Brasa Restaurant, 1 Merchant St, Newark, and on race day from event staff. Official event parking is available near the Brill Street Park entrance; additional parking and street parking may be available. Public transit options include NJ TRANSIT and PATH to Newark Penn Station, with a short walk or rideshare to the park.
