Spring Insight 5K - Newark Riverfront Park

The course runs entirely on Riverfront Park trails as two loops, with no street routing. The route is described as partially flat with some minor hills and includes marked trail sections, a mid-course water station and a water station at the start and finish area. Professional chip timing is provided by Elitefeats. A recovery area is available after the run.
Event amenities include live race results by text and email, chip timing, personalized bibs for registrations completed at least three weeks in advance, a finisher medal for runners (walkers are not listed as medal recipients), a wellness recovery station, free professional race photos, sponsor gifts and giveaways, and on-site music. The event also lists a post-run social and networking experience.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, with online age-group recognition for male and female categories: 12 and under, 13–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70 plus.
