Spring Insight 5K
The Spring Insight 5K is a community 5K event held on May 30, 2026 at Newark Riverfront Park, 1–3 Brill Street, Newark, New Jersey. The race is organized by Insight Run Club in partnership with Purpose Runners Foundation, Newark Parks Foundation, and the City of Newark. It is the first race in the Four Seasons Challenge, a series of four purpose-driven events where each race offers a different location, a unique medal, and supports a meaningful cause.
The course has a common start and finish location near 1–3 Brill Street and is described as a community-style event. Race services include chip timing, live online and text results, personalized bibs for registrations made at least three weeks in advance, finisher medals for all participants, marked course and water stations, and free professional race photos. Additional on-site amenities listed by the organizers include a live DJ, post-run social opportunities, a wellness recovery station, and sponsor gifts and giveaways.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, with online age-group recognition in multiple age categories. Registration details note non-refundable, non-transferable fees and a waiver that participants must accept.
