Spring Insight 5K is scheduled for May 29, 2027 in Newark. Registration is not yet open; the organizer will notify interested people when registration goes live.
The event uses park trails rather than street routing. The course description for a recent edition notes a two-loop route inside Newark Riverfront Park trails, partial flat with some minor hills, and marked routing with water stations at the start/finish area and at mid-course. The race offers professional chip timing and live race results delivered by text and email. Runners receive a finisher medal; personalized bibs are provided for registrations completed at least three weeks in advance.
Event amenities listed for a previous edition include live DJ and music, a wellness recovery station, free professional race photos, a recovery area, sponsor gifts and giveaways, and a post-run social and networking opportunity. Awards include top three overall male and female finishers and online age-group recognition in categories from 12 and under up through 70 plus.
