Spring Insight 5K 2027
Spring Insight 5K is planned for 2027 at Newark Riverfront Park. Registration is not yet open; registration will open ahead of the event date.
The event is a 5K held entirely on Riverfront Park trails. The course uses two loops inside the park, stays off public streets, and is mostly flat with some minor hills. The course is marked and includes water stations at the start/finish area and at a mid-course location. Professional chip timing is provided by Elitefeats. A recovery area and wellness station are available after the run.
Amenities listed for the event include live race results by text and email, a personalized bib for registrations made three or more weeks in advance, a finisher medal for runners, free professional race photos, sponsor gifts and giveaways, a live DJ, post-run social and networking opportunities, and a wellness recovery station.
Awards include top three overall men and women and online age-group recognition in these categories: 12 and under, 13 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 plus.
Bib pickup options include an early pickup at Boi Na Brasa Restaurant, 1 Merchant St, Newark, NJ 07105, and race-day pickup handled by event staff. Last-minute registrants are indicated to receive a bib number by text shortly after registration.
