Spring Georgetown Memorial 5k & Half
The event is a pair of road races held in Georgetown, Washington, DC, on the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal path, with a start/finish location listed at 4940 Canal Rd NW. The in-person program includes two distance options and runs along the canal corridor through the Georgetown area. Walkers are welcome.
Both races use the C&O Canal path. The Half Marathon follows the canal path and begins and ends in Georgetown near the Potomac Boat Club. The 5K follows the canal path and begins and ends at Fletcher’s Boathouse.
Registration is available for in-person and virtual participation. Virtual options are offered with and without a medal and with a medal and shirt; one virtual category with medal and shirt has closed registration. Pricing is tiered and shown amounts include mandatory charges, items, and fees. The event date is May 24, 2026.
