Spring Forward 5K & 10K

Spring Forward 5K & 10K takes place on April 19, 2026, at Morris Central Park in Morris Plains, New Jersey. The event offers two race options and is organized to benefit the Morris Park Alliance, an organization that supports the Morris County park system, open spaces, educational programs, and recreation.

The course uses mixed terrain including grass, pressed gravel, dirt, and sections with some hills. The 10K is a new option this year and consists of two laps of the 5K loop. Post race awards and items include a finisher medal and a race shirt, and there are post race festivities on site.

Participants are described as open to runners of all abilities, families, and friends. Parking is accessed via North Cottage Street. Sponsors are listed for the event and a course map and PDF are available from the organizer.
