8th Annual SPR Mutt Strut : Fond du Lac, WI
The event is a community 5K hosted at Lakeside Park Oven Island in Fond du Lac to benefit Sandi Paws Rescue. All proceeds support the organization’s mission of saving abused and abandoned dogs and cats; the organizer is a 501(c)(3).
The course is a timed 5K with awards presented after results are compiled. Runners and walkers are welcome. Dogs are allowed to participate when they are well behaved, socialized, and up to date on vaccinations; participation of dogs relies on an honor system and retractable leashes are not permitted for safety. Water dishes will be placed along the route for canine participants. Organizers can arrange for participants to be paired with a rescue dog to walk or run with if desired.
Registration details provided by the organizer include an opening date of 2026-01-16, a registration close date of 2026-07-05, and a registration fee of $30.00. Registrations received by 2026-07-04 are guaranteed a t-shirt. Packet pick up is available prior to the event. Photographs from the event may be used by Sandi Paws Rescue in online public galleries and social media related to the organization’s mission.
