Sturgeon Spectacular 5k and Kids Fun Run
The event takes place on February 14, 2026 in downtown Fond du Lac, with the venue listed as Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts at 51 Sheboygan Street. The 5K course runs from downtown onto a paved path and returns to downtown.
Two distances are offered:
- 1/2 mile Kids Fun Run for ages 12 and under
- 5K Run/Walk open to all ages
The Kids Fun Run is free and includes a long-sleeved T-shirt in adult sizes only. Online registration is open through February 13, 2026. Pricing for the 5K changes by date: entry without a shirt is $15 through February 1, 2026; registration plus a commemorative long-sleeved T-shirt is $25 through that date. After February 1, T-shirts will no longer be available and 5K registration is $20 for all.
Participants with strollers or dogs are asked to line up toward the back at the start. The event is presented by SSM Health and receives support from the Fond du Lac Running Club.
