Sport In Action Castle 5K - Race 3
This event is Race 3 of the Castle 5K series at The Sheepmount, Carlisle, Great Britain. Distances offered include:

- 10 km
The course uses a mixture of park paths, pavements and quiet roads and is described as mainly flat with generally good road surfaces. The route begins with a loop of Bitts Park, returns toward Carlisle Castle where competitors complete two laps, then proceeds back to Sheepmount Stadium with a finish near the small grandstand. Caution is advised at turns and participants are asked to follow marshals and the race director’s instructions; the route includes an officially measured 5 km section.
Event safety information includes a full course risk assessment, route maps, the race permit and the measurement certificate on display at the event headquarters in line with UKA rules (Permit No TBA). Prize presentation is listed for the overall first, second and third male and female finishers, with age group awards structured by category size. Age group prizes will be paid by BACS within seven days. The withdrawal policy applies a 50% charge for cancellations one month before the event and no refunds after that date.
