Carlisle Tri Club Triathlon - 19 July 2026
The Carlisle Tri Club Triathlon is a sprint-format event held at the refurbished Sands Centre in Carlisle. The race is based at the centre's new swimming pool and returns for 2026 following the 2025 edition.
Distances:
- 500 m swim
- 20.4 km bike
- 4.9 km run
The bike course is an out and back route that reaches the ring road at Carlisle Airport. The run course crosses Eden Bridge to Rickerby Park for a short loop, then returns to the Sands via the memorial Bridge.
The event offers both individual sprint entries and a relay team option. The triathlon will be chip timed; chips and race numbers are issued at registration. Non-British Triathlon Federation members must purchase a race pass to compete. All finishers receive a bespoke medal.
Organised by Carlisle Tri Club, the event publishes registration details and entry opening dates in advance. Registration opens 20 January 2026.
