Carlisle Half Marathon, 10K & 5K : 18 July 2027
The event takes place at Carlisle Racecourse and offers three fully contained, multi-lap races set within the racecourse grounds. Each route keeps runners close to the event village and provides multiple spectator viewing points.
Distances
- Half Marathon : 9 laps
- 10K : 4 laps
- 5K : 2 laps
Entries include a themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results, post-race goodies and a bag drop. Routes are accurately measured and have clear course marking with marshals on course. There is a 3 hour cut-off time for the event.
Practical information: there is limited free parking on site and runners are advised to approach from the north via Blackwell because of road closures south of the venue; some queues on arrival are possible. Race pack collection happens from the event village on the day; bring booking confirmation and photo ID. Water is provided approximately every 5 km and at the finish. Toilets are available in the event village and about halfway along the half marathon course. Timed results are recorded and contribute to national rankings, PBs and leaderboards.
