Acorn Bank 10k
Acorn Bank 10k, organised by Eden Runners, takes place on Sunday 13 September 2026 and is the sixth running of the event. The race is an accurately measured 10 km route, registered with RunEvents and England Athletics (course measurement certificate 20/103, RunEvents licence #31418).
The route starts and finishes in the grounds of the Acorn Bank National Trust property and runs along country lanes and tarmac footpaths. The course is described as undulating and is measured for accuracy.
Parking, race registration and toilets are located in the grounds of Acorn Bank. Parking will be coordinated by marshals and there is a suggested donation of £5 per car; this includes entry on the day to the Acorn Bank estate, gardens and house and proceeds will go to Acorn Bank. Registration for race numbers opens at 8.30am and closes at 9.30am. A race safety briefing is scheduled for 9.55am.
Under UKA rules, wearing headphones or similar devices is not permitted and running with dogs is not allowed. Entrants may transfer places through the SiEntries online system up to Friday 11 September; no transfers will be allowed on the day and there are no refunds or deferrals. The minimum age on race day is 15 years.
Prizes are awarded to the first three overall men and women and in specified age categories. Eden Runners will donate £2 from each entry to conservation projects at Acorn Bank. Every finisher receives a slice of Traybake flapjack. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
