Acorn Bank 10k
The Acorn Bank 10k is an accurately measured 10 km road race held on 13 September 2026 in the grounds of the Acorn Bank National Trust property near Temple Sowerby, Nr Penrith, Cumbria. The course is undulating and runs along country lanes and tarmac footpaths. The route is registered with Run Events.
Parking, race registration and toilets are located within the Acorn Bank grounds. Parking will be coordinated by marshals and a suggested donation of £5 per car is requested; this donation includes entry to the Acorn Bank estate, gardens and house and all parking proceeds go to Acorn Bank (National Trust). Eden Runners will donate £2 from each entry towards conservation projects at Acorn Bank.
Entry is limited to 200 runners and the minimum age on race day is 15 years. Entry fees are listed for UKA members and non members. Prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers and in age categories including U23, V40, V50, V60 and V70, plus the first club or team of three.
All finishers receive a slice of Traybakes flapjack with a vegan option available. Under UKA rules the wearing of in-ear or over-ear headphones is not permitted; bone conduction devices are permitted. Medically prescribed hearing aids should be declared to the race organisers.
