Helvellyn and the Dodds

Helvellyn and the Dodds is a 24 km (14.9 miles) fell race organized by Keswick Athletic Club, starting from Fornside Farm. The route climbs 1337 m (4386 ft) and follows an out-and-back course across the Helvellyn range. After a short uphill road section, runners ascend through open fell land to a steep grassy climb up Clough Head, then proceed toward Helvellyn summit before returning on the same mostly downhill route.

The event offers a scenic yet challenging Lake District experience. Mandatory FRA kit includes waterproof body cover, hat, gloves, map, compass, whistle, and emergency food. Sponsorship: Kong Adventure Keswick.
