Spooky Sprint - Kansas City
Spooky Sprint takes place at Longview College in Lee's Summit, Missouri on October 25, 2026. The event is Halloween themed and offers multiple in-person race distances plus a virtual race.
Races and distances include:
- 50 m (Kids Dash)
- 1 mile (untimed)
- 3.1 miles (5K)
- 6.2 miles (10K)
- 13.1 miles (Half Marathon)
Registration opened October 5, 2025. Registration deadlines vary by event: half marathon registration closes April 29, 2026; 5K and 10K registration closes July 22, 2026; several events show registration open through October 25, 2026. Registration fees are listed per event and include youth pricing of $17 for 5K and 10K for ages 12 and under.
Event features listed for participants include a designer shirt, custom bib, and a finisher medal for the 1 mile, 5K, 10K, and half marathon. The kids dash includes a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a crafted medal; children may run the kids dash without taking the swag. The event uses chip timing with live results and awards, offers free photos, and has treats at the finish. A Volunteer then Run option combines volunteering before running any chosen distance.
