Graveyard 5k Run & Fun Run
The Graveyard 5K Run & Fun Run is the 9th annual event held at Elmwood Cemetery in Kansas City on October 24, 2026. The event takes place entirely within the cemetery grounds and supports preservation and maintenance of the historic site.
The program includes a graded running race, a community 1 mile fun run for all ages, and a guided cemetery tour offered as a separate activity. Registration opens on August 4, 2026. Registration fees change by registration date; the 5K fee ranges from $35 to $45, the fun run fee ranges from $25 to $35, and the cemetery tour fee is $15.
