The Spooktacular 5K & Monster Mile is a Halloween-themed running event in Huntsville, Alabama. It takes place on Saturday, October 31, 2026. Participants can register for the 5K, the Monster Mile, or a combination of both events.

Location and Logistics
The race address is 101 Church St SW in Huntsville. The 5K start is on Church Street, just north of the Museum of Art. Parking is available at Parking Garage M, which opens at 6:30 a.m. Portable toilets will be located next to the parking garage.
Pre-Race Information
Packet pick-up is available the day before the race at Fleet Feet Huntsville (2722 Carl T. Jones Drive) from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. There is also race morning packet pick-up starting at 7:00 a.m. at the event venue.
Activities
A costume contest will be held with winners announced at 9:30 a.m. Participants must check in with judges before 9:00 a.m. to enter. Awards for the races and the costume contest will be presented after the Monster Mile. The event will be held regardless of weather conditions.
