Spook Hill Cider & Wine 4 Mile Run
The event is a 4 Miles running event held at the Burkittsville Ruritan Community Center, 500 East Main Street, Burkittsville, Maryland 21718. The course passes through orchard, farm, and vineyard areas and includes stretches of pavement, gravel, grassy sections, and occasionally uneven cross-country terrain.
The orchard, farm, and vineyard portions of the official course are private property and are accessible only to participants on race day. Dogs and jogging or running strollers are not allowed. Late starts are not permitted; there are no exceptions.
There is one pre-race early packet pickup on the Wednesday prior at Charm City Run in Frederick. Race day packet pickup is available on the morning of the event. The event has been featured twice in Runner's World Magazine and in Competitor.com.
The listed event dates span October 2026. Spook Hill, or an iteration of the event, may return in 2027.
