About the race
The Fall Dash to Restore the Splash is a community running event in Cressona to raise funds for the town pool, which requires $1.2 million in repairs and upgrades. The course runs through the streets of Cressona and finishes at Bubeck Park, where a post-race festival will be held.
Event options include:
- 5K road race
- 1 mile Fun Run/Walk
- 5K Virtual Challenge
Dog companions are welcome if leashed and comfortable around people and other dogs. For safety, the only wheels allowed on the course are strollers or wagons. During registration participants can choose timed results or untimed participation. Non-chip bibs will be assigned and Pretzel City Sports will provide timing; official results will be uploaded to RunSignUp the next business day.
Packet pickup is available Friday November 20, 12:00 to 17:00 at Cressona Borough Hall, 68 S. Sillyman Street, and race day pickup 9:00 to 9:45 at the Cressona Pool concession building. Pre-registration closes November 20 at 23:59; pre-registration fee is $30 and race day registration is $35. A virtual entry option is available. Register by November 1 to be guaranteed a Fall Dash shirt, timing bib if applicable, a finisher medal, and eligibility for prizes.
