Vikes & Vets 5K and Fun Run
The Vikes & Vets 5K and Fun Run is scheduled for November 14, 2026 at Northern Lebanon High School in Fredericksburg, PA. The event is presented by the Northern Lebanon Viking Foundation and Northern Lebanon Cross Country and uses portions of the school's cross country course.
The 5K course is a hilly mix of trails, grass, and macadam and will be held rain or shine. Light refreshments will be available for runners after the event and local food trucks will be on site. A short fun run for children 12 and under covers approximately 1000 meters on a mix of macadam and grass. Packet pick up is available the day before the race and on race day at the stadium field house. Awards are presented after the fun run.
Awards for the 5K include Top Male and Female Overall, Top Male and Female NL Alumni, Top Male and Female Military, and Top Male and Female in these age groups: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.
Entry fees are stated as follows: 5K $30 if registered by October 10 with a long sleeve technical shirt included, $35 after October 10 with shirt not guaranteed. Fun run fees for children 12 and under are $5 without a shirt or $10 with a short-sleeve shirt if registered by October 10. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
