Event Overview
The Spillway Classic Trail Run is an annual off-road running event held in Norco, Louisiana. Now in its 39th year, the race takes place within the Bonnet Carre Spillway, utilizing natural trails that evolve alongside the local ecosystem. The course is characterized by varying terrain and participants should anticipate muddy or wet conditions depending on recent weather patterns.

The route is known as "The Gauntlet" due to its off-road nature. Because the course follows natural trails, the physical conditions of the path are subject to the environment. Runners and walkers are advised to exercise caution throughout the duration of the event.
Participation and Amenities
The race is open to all runners and walkers regardless of pace. Registration is available for individual participants as well as through family membership options for New Orleans Track Club members. The family registration includes up to six household members. Registered participants have access to post-race refreshments, which include beer, jambalaya, water, and various local snacks and sweets.
