Speyside Way Ultras
The Speyside Way Ultras on 15 August 2026 offers two trail race options along the Speyside Way. The 50 km route follows the Speyside Way from Tamdhu Distillery to Buckie, is largely runnable with a net downhill profile, includes a climb at Ben Aigen, and finishes along a coastal path. The 100 km route starts in Aviemore, includes an additional mountainous section to Tamdhu Distillery, then follows the 50 km route through whisky country to Buckie.
Practical details
Entry is restricted to adults aged over 18. Cutoff times are 18 hours for the 100 km and 10 hours for the 50 km. Entry limits are 50 places for the 100 km and 250 places for the 50 km. Entry fees are £80 for the 100 km and £60 for the 50 km. Full route details and GPX files will be provided before the race, and an official race handbook is issued to each competitor. Volunteers are requested to assist with marshalling, attendance, and catering; volunteers receive event merchandise, a high-visibility vest, and are invited to the finish gathering.
