About the race
Spencer Park Adventure Rogaine is a double-format orienteering fundraiser offering a one-hour mountain bike orienteering (MTBO) rogaine followed by a one-hour foot rogaine. Participants may enter either one of the events or both, and may compete individually or as part of a team. Maps for the MTBO are issued at registration; foot rogaine maps are issued after the MTBO.
The event raises funds for PAPO athletes travelling to JWOC and WOC. Pre-entry is preferred; entries open approximately two weeks before the event and pre-entries close on the Wednesday before the event. Limited enter-on-the-day places will be available and will be charged at non-member prices. All entries must be paid by credit or debit card through the event entry system.
Entry fees (member / non-member): Both events - Senior: $25 / $35, Junior: $15 / $20; family maximum $60 / $80. Single event - Senior: $15 / $20, Junior: $10 / $12.50; family maximum $40 / $60. Family group rules: families riding together or caregivers accompanying children; only juniors need to register and pay.
SportIdent electronic punching is used with Air mode enabled. Standard SI sticks and SI Air+ are available for hire; SI Air+ hire requires pre-entry. Standard SI hire is recommended for new participants at $2. Dogs are not permitted. Parking and the exact event location within Spencer Park are to be confirmed.
