Canterbury Half Marathon - Pegasus Town
The Canterbury Half Marathon takes place in Pegasus Town on 13 December 2026. The event uses a course that runs around the lake and along walkways, passing water views, park-like areas and residential gardens.
Distances offered:
- Half Marathon (21.1 km) : run, walk, hybrid
- 9 km : run, walk
- Kidz Dash (2.5 km) : for ages 7 to 13, run around the lake
The half marathon includes a Hybrid category that combines running and walking. Both the half marathon and the 9 km include a walking option. Virtual entries are offered for the half marathon and the 9 km for participants outside the local area; virtual participants are listed in virtual race results and receive a medal after the event.
