Canterbury Half Marathon
The Canterbury Half Marathon takes place in Pegasus Town on 13 December 2026. The event uses a course around the town lake and includes water views, walkways and residential areas. The course is described by the organisers as fast and flat.

- Half Marathon (21.1 km) run, walk, hybrid
- 9 km run, walk
- Kidz Dash (2.5 km) for 7 to 13 year olds
Both the half marathon and the 9 km include walking options. The half marathon also offers a hybrid category that combines running and walking. The Kidz Dash is a short run around the lake intended to give children an event experience.
Virtual entries are available for the half marathon and the 9 km for participants outside the local area. Virtual entrants will have their results listed as a virtual race and will be sent a medal after the event.
