OxRun & OxDash (run only)
The OxRun and OxDash are run-only events held as part of the OxMan festival near Christchurch in rural North Canterbury. The events use the same run course as the other OxMan races and take place in an area of quiet country roads.
The start line is on South Eyre Road just past the bike exit. Runners begin by heading down South Eyre Road, then turn left at the first shingle road. The course continues with a left into Harewood Road, then left into the shingle road that leads to the finish area. Athletes turn at the finish line to begin the main lap.
The OxRun covers three laps of the main circuit; the OxDash covers one lap. The route includes Harewood Road, Poyntzs Road and Worlingham Road to the turn point and returns on the same roads to the finish. The run-only events start at the same time as the Mini OxMan. The event materials note that runners should not follow Mini OxMan or OxMan Multisport athletes who turn right about 500 m down Harewood Road as those athletes head to their bikes.

- 7 km OxDash, one lap of the main course
