OxMan

OxRun & OxDash (run only)

The OxRun and OxDash are run only events held as part of the OxMan festival in rural North Canterbury near Christchurch. Both events use the same run course as the other OxMan races and start at the same time as the Mini OxMan.

The course begins at the start line on South Eyre Road just past the bike exit, then runs down South Eyre Road and turns left onto the first shingle road. Runners then turn left into Harewood Road and left again onto the shingle road that leads to the finish line. At the finish line runners turn for the main lap. The OxRun completes three laps of the main circuit and the OxDash completes one lap.

Course notes:

• The main route includes sections on South Eyre Road, Harewood Road, Poyntzs Road and Worlingham Road with a turn point on Worlingham Road.
• There is a specific route divergence near Harewood Road: runners should not follow Mini OxMan and OxMan multisport athletes who turn right about 500 m down Harewood Road as they head to their bikes.
