Speedway in Lights 5K : Bristol Motor Speedway
The Speedway in Lights 5K is a run/walk at Bristol Motor Speedway on November 15, 2026, benefiting Speedway Children's Charities. The event invites participants to move through a holiday lights display that was updated for 2026 with 40 new displays.
The 5K course begins near Entrance No. 2 beside the BMS South Building, makes a loop that runs up and back down the quarter-mile Bristol Dragway, returns to the high-banked oval, enters the stadium at the track’s pit gate, then proceeds counterclockwise down the backstretch before crossing the finish line just before Turn 2. The event typically includes more than 1,000 participants.
Online registration is available from February 25 through November 8, with on-site day-of registration also permitted after that date. Children age 3 and under are free; T-shirt and ornament are not included for children in that category. Registration prices change by date: early pricing (February 25–March 31), mid pricing (April 1–July 31), late pricing (August 1–October 28), and a final online window (October 29–November 8). Day-of on-site registration is offered at a separate rate and T-shirt and ornament are not guaranteed for late or day-of registrants.
