About the race
The Cline-Holder Electric Speedway in Lights 5K presented by Fleet Feet Sports is a run/walk at Bristol Motor Speedway that benefits Speedway Children's Charities. The event returns for its 16th year on November 15, 2026 and expects more than 1,000 participants to tour the venue's holiday lights display.
The course was updated for 2026 with 40 new displays. The route begins near Entrance No. 2 beside the BMS South Building, makes a loop up and back along the quarter-mile Bristol Dragway, returns to the high-banked oval, enters the stadium through the pit gate, turns left down the backstretch in a counterclockwise direction, and finishes just before Turn 2.
Online registration opens February 25 and runs through November 8; on-site registration is available on the day of the event after online registration closes. Children aged 3 and under are free; shirts and ornaments are not included for free registrations. Registration fees vary by period: February 25–March 31 (Adults $25, Kids 12 and under $15), April 1–July 31 (Adults $35, Kids $20), August 1–October 27 (Adults $45, Kids $25), October 28–November 8 (Adults $35, Kids $25). Day-of on-site registration fees are Adults $35 and Kids $25; T-shirt and ornament are not guaranteed for late or day-of registration.
