Speedway in Lights 5K
The Cline-Holder Electric Speedway in Lights 5K returns for its 16th year on Sunday, November 15, 2026, at Bristol Motor Speedway. The run/walk benefits Speedway Children's Charities and follows the Speedway In Lights holiday display.
The course was updated for 2026 with 40 new displays. The route begins near Entrance No. 2 beside the BMS South Building, makes a loop up and back down the historic quarter-mile Bristol Dragway, then returns to the high-banked oval. Participants enter the stadium at the track’s pit gate, turn left onto the backstretch in a counterclockwise direction, and cross the finish line positioned just before Turn 2.
Online registration opens February 25 and remains available through November 8; on-site registration is available the day of the event. Children age 3 and under are free; T-shirt and ornament are not included for those entries. Registration pricing varies by period: February 25–March 31 Adults $25 Kids 12 and under $15; April 1–July 31 Adults $35 Kids $20; August 1–October 28 Adults $45 Kids $25; October 29–November 8 Adults $35 Kids $25 with T-shirt and ornament not guaranteed. Day-of on-site registration: Adults $35 Kids $25 T-shirt and ornament not guaranteed.
