2027 San Jose Trail Challenge
The San Jose Trail Challenge takes place at Sanborn County Park on the eastern slopes of the Santa Cruz Mountains. The park contains giant coastal redwood groves and shaded forest, and conditions tend to be relatively temperate. Trails are well groomed but often steep and technically demanding, with flowy singletrack, big climbs, and fast descents. Runners can expect good footing through dense forest and significant elevation change.
This is the third edition of the San Jose Trail Challenge. The event offers multiple trail distances and lists spectator access as part of the day program. Race day information also covers arrival and heat logistics and volunteer opportunities.
