The Space Coast Classic takes place on Sunday, April 12, 2026, in Cocoa, Florida at the Catherine Schweinsberg Rood Central Library. The event includes the following distances and formats:
- 15K (9.3 miles)
- 2 Mile
- Virtual 15K and Virtual 2 Mile
Entry fees listed for 2026 vary by event: the 15K shows a price range of $35 - $40, the 2 Mile $22 - $25, and virtual entries $22 - $40. Early registration is guaranteed to include a free race shirt and ends on March 15, 2026. The race is held rain or shine and the policy states no refunds.
Logistics, course and awards
Packet pickup is available at Running Zone (3696 N Wickham Rd, Melbourne) on the Friday and Saturday before the race, with additional race-day pickup offered. The race benefits Survive First Foundation and St. Francis Reflections LSC Foundation. Race management and timing services are provided by Running Zone Race Management, Inc.
Aid stations on the 15K course are listed at approximately 1.2 miles/8.1 miles (1027 Indian River Drive), 2.5 miles/6.8 miles (Indian River Dr and Coquina, with Gatorade), and 4.0 miles/5.3 miles (3543 Indian River Drive). Awards include top overall and age-group prizes for both distances, special masters categories, a top coed team prize (minimum five members, at least one of opposite sex), and a cash prize for breaking the 2024 15K course record.
