The Space Coast Classic 15K & 2 Mile takes place on Sunday, April 12, 2026, in Cocoa, FL at the Catherine Schweinsberg Rood Central Library (308 Forrest Ave, Cocoa, FL 32922). The event is part of the Space Coast Runners calendar and is listed as SCR Runner of the Year Series race #9. A virtual race option is available for both distances. The 2026 theme is "Year of the Corvette" as the first year in a three-year classic car series; completing all three years earns a challenge medal.

Logistics and awards
Packet pickup is at Running Zone, 3696 N Wickham Rd, Melbourne, on the Friday and Saturday before the race; race-day packet pickup and registration are also offered. The race is held rain or shine and no refunds are issued. Finisher medals are awarded to every finisher, and a free race shirt is guaranteed with paid early registration; early registration ends on 3/15/26. Beneficiaries include Survive First Foundation and St. Francis Reflections LSC Foundation.
Award categories include top overall finishers, masters (40+), grand masters (50+), senior grand masters (60+), top three in each age group for both distances, and top coed teams (minimum five members, must include one person of the opposite sex). A $100 prize is listed for breaking the 2024 15K course record for male and female. Age-group awards cover youth categories for the 2 Mile and five-year bands from 15-19 through 85+. Water stations on the 15K are listed at 1.2/8.1 miles (1027 Indian River Drive), 2.5/6.8 miles (Indian River Dr and Coquina, with Gatorade), and 4.0/5.3 miles (3543 Indian River Drive). Parking notes indicate onsite library parking may be first-come with a $5 cash fee (2025); handicap tags and first responders park free when available.
