Southport Seaside 10K
The Southport Seaside 10K is scheduled for Sunday 1 August 2027 in Southport. The event is organised by RunThrough and is set around Marine Drive, with the finish in Princes Park.
The course is described as flat and fast with potential for personal bests. It follows a partially closed-road circuit, heading out and back along Marine Drive with views of the seafront and Southport Pier, then returning along the Promenade to the finish in Princes Park.
The distance is 10 km. Each kilometre is marked with distance flags and marshals are positioned around the course to guide and encourage participants. An event village is provided with food and drink options and free items from event partners available at the finish.
The organiser highlights sustainability as an increasing focus for its events. Event t-shirts bearing the event logo are available at a discount of more than 30 percent when purchased as part of the entry, supplied in partnership with RT Kit.
