Southport Seaside 10k
The Southport Seaside 10k takes place on 1 August 2027 in Southport, with the event village and finish located in Princes Park near 50 Marine Drive PR8 1SB. The route is a partially closed-road circuit that heads out and back along Marine Drive, passes views of the seafront and Southport Pier, then returns along the Promenade to the finish in Princes Park. Elevation gain on the course is 4 m.
Entry includes a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results, post race goodies and a bag drop. There is a water station at the 5 km point and water at the finish. Portable toilets are available in the event village; there are no toilets on the course. A secure marquee is provided for baggage and baggage tags attach to the race number.
There is a two hour cut off due to road closures. The minimum age for the 10k is 15 years. Race packs are posted to entrants by 18 July; entries after that date collect packs at registration on the day. An optional event t shirt produced with RT Kit is available as an add on at checkout. Spectators are welcome and are advised to use the event village to view the start and finish. The event is wheelchair friendly; one section moves off road where the kerb is lowered.
