Fleetwood Half Marathon
The Fleetwood Half Marathon is a road running event that celebrates the coastal heritage of the town. The course is situated along the Irish Sea, with both the start and finish lines located on the Fleetwood promenade. This coastal route provides participants with sea views and fresh air as they travel through the nautical landscape of the North West.
Participants can expect a fully supported and accurately measured course with the following distance:
- Half Marathon
The event is EA licensed and utilizes chip timing to record official results. To support participants during the race, staffed water stations are positioned at the 3, 6, 9, and 12-mile marks, providing 500ml of bottled water. Medical services are available throughout the duration of the event, and marshals are stationed along the route.
The event headquarters is located at Rossall Point and Beach Road Car Park, where registration, baggage storage, and a key drop facility are available. Bib numbers must be collected on the morning of the race at these headquarters. Limited car parking is available at the site, with additional options on the Esplanade. All finishers receive a bespoke nautical-themed medal, and free event photography is provided. Registration is open to all individuals aged 17 and over on race day.
