Fleetwood Half Marathon : event overview
The Fleetwood Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 23rd August 2026 in Fleetwood. The start and finish are on Fleetwood promenade and the course follows the town's coastal area by the Irish Sea. The event is England Athletics registered, accurately measured and uses chip timing. Free photos are provided and finishers receive a bespoke nautical-themed medal.
Entry, venue and race services
Entry is open to anyone aged over 17 on race day. Entries are accepted online only; standard entry is £30.00 and UK Athletics & ARC club members pay £28.00. On-the-day entries may be available for an additional £10. Postal entries are not accepted.
Event HQ is at Rossall Point and Beach Road Car Park, just off The Esplanade. The start is 0.5 miles from Race HQ. At the venue there are registration desks, an enquiry desk, toilets, baggage storage next to bib collection, and a key drop facility. Bibs must be collected on race day and entrants should bring their email confirmation or payment receipt for collection.
Car parking is available at the venue and on the Esplanade but can fill up. Fully staffed water stations supply 500 ml bottled water at miles 3, 6, 9 and 12, with bins about 100 metres after each station; water is also available at the finish.
