Event overview
The Southern Utah Half Marathon takes place in Washington, Utah on March 28, 2026. The event includes a Half Marathon and a Wheelchair Half Marathon. The race start is at Highland Park, 1250 Highland Pkwy, Washington, UT 84780. The event is part of the Underground Runner Series.
Course and logistics
The course descends for the first 4 miles and then follows the paved Virgin River Trail with a gradual decline for the remaining 9 miles. The route provides views of the sun rising over Zion National Park in the distance. Aid stations are located at the following mile markers: Starting Line, 2.25, 4, 6, 8.5, 10.5, 11.75, 13.1. All aid stations will have water and Gatorade. Aid Stations 6 and 10 will also offer GU. Aid Stations 4, 6 and 10 will have porta potties.
Entry and awards
Registration fee for each event is listed as $84. Registration closes March 25, 2026. All participants receive a Southern Utah Half Marathon T-shirt. Finishers who complete the race within four hours receive a finisher medal. Awards are given to the top three in each age division, and the top five men and top five women overall receive gift cards to the St. George Running Center.
