The Southern Paws Animal Rescue 5k is the 6th annual 5k held at Boone Hall Plantation & Gardens in Mount Pleasant, SC. The event is a benefit for Southern Paws Animal Rescue, a 501(c)(3) organization that cares for abused and neglected animals and works with law enforcement on animal welfare cases. The race offers two registration options: pay the entry fee, or register and bring a bag of animal food to the event to receive a $10 reduction in the registration fee.

Late registrations are accepted at Charleston Sports Pub on the Friday before the race during the same pickup hours. Restrooms will be available near the start/finish area. Parking will be off Highway 17 using the same parking area used for other local events. Shirts are guaranteed for those who register by April 15, 2026. The event will take place rain or shine.
