Southern Paws Animal Rescue 5K
This is the sixth annual 5k event held at Boone Hall Plantation & Gardens in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. The run is a benefit for Southern Paws Animal Rescue, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to saving abused and neglected animals.
Participants can register in two ways: by paying the standard entry fee, or by bringing a bag of pet or livestock food (dog, cat, goat, deer, or horse food) to receive a $10 discount on registration.
Packet pickup is available at Charleston Sports Pub in Mount Pleasant the day before the event, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. It is also available on the morning of the event from 7:00 AM to 7:30 AM. Parking for the event is located off Highway 17, in an area used for other local events. Restrooms are available near the start/finish line.
The event proceeds rain or shine. No refunds or registration transfers are permitted. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations received by April 15, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
