Southern Oregon Runners Turkey Trot
The Southern Oregon Runners Turkey Trot is a community running event in Talent, Oregon on November 26. The event includes several distance options and a free kids dash for children age eight and under. A food drive for the SOU food bank will be held and a portion of proceeds supports SOR Student Runners Programs, including Shoes for Kids, KidsRunFree, and XC Project.
Registration opens June 1 and closes November 24. Fees are listed as $20 for members and $25 for nonmembers; youth 18 and under are free. Family pricing is available. No in person registration will be offered; packet pick up is scheduled the day before at Legend Cider Co. Talent Taphouse and there is packet pick up available on race day.
Participants receive a custom race bib and a finishers medal. There are no age group awards. Dogs, bikes, skateboards, and skates are not permitted. Races take place on public roads and trails that remain open to traffic, pedestrians, and cyclists; participants are asked to use caution on public roadways and paths.
