Southampton Fast Twitch
Southampton Fast Twitch is a pool-based sprint triathlon held at Applemore Leisure Centre in Dibden, Southampton on 19 April 2026. The race combines a short pool swim with a road bike leg and a run that finishes in the local village.
The event route includes a 21 km bike course that heads toward the village of Beaulieu through New Forest National Park, where participants may encounter roaming livestock such as New Forest ponies, cows, donkeys and pigs. The run finishes by heading toward Dibden Purlieu, up Challenger Way and along Roman Road.
Entry details available for the event list an entry fee of £65.00 and an age eligibility rule of 15 years and over on 31 December 2025. The event is currently sold out and a waiting list is open; places may become available from the waiting list.
Volunteers are used for marshalling and other duties on race day. Volunteers are briefed by a dedicated manager, provided with a high visibility vest and are issued a free entry code as a thank you for their support.
