Southampton Fast Twitch

Southampton Fast Twitch is a pool-based sprint triathlon held at Applemore Leisure Centre on the edge of the New Forest National Park in Hampshire. The event features a 400m swim (16 pool lengths), a scenic 21km bike ride through the New Forest towards the historic village of Beaulieu—where participants may see roaming ponies and other livestock—and a 5km run finishing in Dibden Purlieu along Roman Road. This early-season race offers a welcoming atmosphere for both novices and experienced triathletes, celebrated for its beautiful course and strong local community spirit.
