New Forest Triathlon: Moyles Court School, Ringwood
The New Forest Triathlon takes place on 6 September 2026 at Moyles Court School in Ringwood, Hampshire. The event uses Ellingham Waterski Lake for the swim, a bike route through the New Forest where wild ponies and horses may be seen, and a run on quiet country roads.
Multiple race formats are offered alongside relay entries for two to three people. An event village is provided for spectators, with offerings that include coffee, pizza, a mechanic, post event massage and children’s activities. A code of conduct is published for participants, and volunteer marshals are recruited for the event.
Distances on the programme include:
- Middle Distance Triathlon: swim 1.9 km, transition run 1 km, cycle 90 km, run 21 km
- Standard Triathlon: swim 1.1 km, transition run 1 km, cycle 33 km, run 10 km
- Sprint: swim 400 m, transition run 1 km, cycle 33 km, run 5 km
- Aquabike: swim 1.9 km, cycle 90 km (no transition run)
- Duathlon: run 5 km, cycle 33 km, run 5 km
Road closures affect the Moyles Court area for the event; participants are required to park at Moyles Court School before closures take effect and vehicle movement will be restricted during the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
