This is a timed event where participants choose their distance. They can complete as many or as few laps as they like on a multi-terrain course.
Course and Format
The course is an out-and-back route through Parc Taf Bargoed, a Green Flag park. Each lap is approximately 5.3 km (3.28 miles). The total event duration is 7 hours. The minimum distance is one lap (3.28 miles), with no upper limit.
The terrain is mostly on tarmac paths, with about 0.5 miles on a riverside trail. The overall elevation gain per lap is 37 meters.
Participant Information
The event welcomes runners and walkers. It operates with flexible start times to accommodate early or late arrivals. All finishers receive a bespoke medal, though a lower-cost, no-medal entry option is also available from £20.
