Participants run laps of a 5.3 km (3.28 mile) out-and-back course through Parc Taf Bargoed. The minimum distance is one lap (3.28 miles) and the event has a 7-hour time limit; runners and walkers may complete as many or as few laps as they wish. The course is multi-terrain, mostly on tarmac paths with about 0.5 miles on a riverside trail, and has an overall elevation gain of 37 m.

Entry prices listed are £33.00 (affiliated) and £35.00 (unaffiliated); a no-medal entry option is offered from £20. Participants receive event support including aid stations, same-day results, athlete profiles, digital bibs and digital finishers certificates.
