So Long to Summer 5K and 10K
So Long to Summer 5K and 10K takes place on September 26, 2026 at Salisbury Park and Equestrian Sports Complex, 11920 Motsenbocker Road, Parker, Colorado. The event is part of the Parker Parks and Recreation Run Series and is professionally timed.

Standard costs listed for the event begin at $40 for the 5K and $50 for the 10K. Prices increase on September 12 and event day registration is available for an additional fee if space remains. Registered participants receive a race shirt, custom bib, a pancake breakfast from Flippin' Flapjacks and a beverage from Two22 Brew for ages 21 and over. Commemorative finisher medals can be purchased as an add on during registration with an order deadline in September. Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, September 25 from 3 to 7 pm at a to be determined location; event day pickup begins at 7 am at Salisbury Park.
Awards will be given to the top overall male and female finishers in each event and to the top two finishers per event in these age divisions: ages 12 and under, 13 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over. A free Kids' Dash follows the race for children ages 8 and under with no registration required.
The event is held rain, snow or shine and refunds are not issued. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome but must remain on the right side of the trail. Parking is limited. Proceeds benefit the Town of Parker Scholarship Program. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
