The So Long to Summer 5K/10K takes place on Sept. 26, 2026 at Salisbury Park, 11920 Motsenbocker Rd., Parker, CO. Distances offered:

- 10K
Standard registration fees are $40 for the 5K and $50 for the 10K. Groups of four or more receive a 10 percent discount when registered together. Registration fees increase on Saturday, September 12. Event-day registration may be available for an additional $5 if space remains. Registered participants receive a race shirt, custom bib, and a post-race pancake breakfast; alcoholic beverages are available for participants aged 21 and older. The event is part of the Parker Parks and Recreation Run Series and is professionally timed. RNK Running & Walking is the title sponsor.
Race information
The course for both distances is an out-and-back route starting from Salisbury Park. A free Kids' Dash for children 8 and under follows the race; no registration is required. Awards are given to overall male and female finishers in each distance. Top three male and female finishers in each age division receive medals: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. The event is held rain, snow or shine and refunds are not issued. Strollers and leashed dogs are allowed but must stay on the right side of the trail. Parking is limited. Any proceeds benefit the Town of Parker Scholarship Program. Volunteer opportunities are available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
