Parker So Long to Summer 5K/10K
The Parker Parks and Recreation So Long to Summer event is a community run/walk held on September 26, 2026, at Salisbury Equestrian Park and Sports Complex, 11920 Motsenbocker Rd., Parker, CO. The event offers two distance options:
- 5K
- 10K
The course is an out-and-back route from Salisbury Park. The event is part of the Parker Parks and Recreation Run Series and is professionally timed. A free Kids' Dash for children 8 and under follows the race; no registration is required.
Entry, fees and what participants receive
Base entry fees start at $40 for the 5K and $50 for the 10K. Prices increase on September 12 and event-day registration may be available for an additional fee if space remains. Groups of four or more registering together receive a 10 percent discount. Registered participants receive a race shirt, a custom bib, and a post-race pancake breakfast. A beverage for ages 21 and over is provided. Participants may add a custom finisher medal during registration by September 5.
Logistics, awards and other notes
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race and on race day at Salisbury Park. The event is held rain, snow or shine and refunds are not issued. Awards are given to overall male and female winners and to top finishers in standard age categories. Proceeds benefit the Town of Parker Scholarship Program.
