The So Long to Summer 5K/10K is a Parker Parks and Recreation run/walk scheduled for Sept. 26, 2026, at Salisbury Park, 11920 Motsenbocker Rd., Parker, CO. Distances offered are:

Standard registration fees are $40 for the 5K and $50 for the 10K. A 10 percent discount applies to groups of four or more registered in the same transaction. Registration costs increase on Saturday, September 12. Event-day registration is available for an additional $5 if space remains. Registered participants receive a race shirt, custom bib, a pancake breakfast from Flippin' Flapjacks and a beverage for ages 21+ from Bodega Beer Company. Participants may add a finisher medal during registration.
Race details and logistics
The event is part of the Parker Parks and Recreation Run Series and is professionally timed. The course is an out-and-back route from Salisbury Park. Awards are given to overall male and female finishers in both distances. Age-group medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in these divisions: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. A free Kids' Dash for children 8 and under follows the race; no registration is required. The event is held rain, snow or shine and refunds are not issued. Strollers and leashed dogs are permitted but must remain on the right side of the trail. Parking is limited. Proceeds benefit the Town of Parker Scholarship Program.
