Arapahoe Warrior 5K
The Arapahoe Warrior 5K is the seventh annual community running event held on August 8, 2026 at Arapahoe High School in Centennial, Colorado. The event features a measured, clearly marked out-and-back course of 3.1 Miles that runs through residential streets of Centennial. Course data includes an elevation gain of 109 ft, an elevation loss of 89 ft, a minimum elevation of 5,575 ft, and a maximum elevation of 5,665 ft.
Proceeds support the Arapahoe Warrior Cross Country Team. Ten dollars from each registration is directed to the Arapahoe Cross Country Booster Club. Standard registration is listed at $25; race day registration is noted at $40. Registration opens December 31, 2025 and closes May 31, 2026.
Post-race amenities for registered participants include a pancake breakfast provided by Flippin’ Flap Jacks, served with sausage and orange juice. A custom race T-shirt is available for $14; ordering by July 14 is recommended to guarantee a shirt, which is a fitted style and may require sizing up for a looser fit.
Awards include a custom 3.5 inch die-cast finisher medal for the top three in each age group. Overall male and female winners are recognized. Age categories run from 10 and under through 70 and over, with a total of 62 custom medals planned. Packet pickup is available before the event and on race morning.
