Course, format and support
The course is a paved 2.62-mile loop run on a former golf course at Riverwest Preserve. The preserve is described as 240 acres with rolling cart paths, wooden bridges, waterfalls, riverfront views, and shaded sections. An Athlete Village is located between the start and finish; participants may stage a 10x10 canopy and personal gear, and parking is about 150 meters from the site.
Lapped format and rules: each loop is 2.62 miles and runners have 45 minutes to complete a lap; runners must wait until the 45-minute lap period expires before starting the next lap. Relay rules allow only one team member to run at a time; team limits set maximum laps per runner by team size. An aid station at the start/finish offers snacks and drinks; no cups are provided. Awards include top three overall male and female trophies and age-group awards with series points. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
