Smoky Bear Turkey Chase 5K
The Smoky Bear Turkey Chase 5K is scheduled for Thursday, November 26, 2026, in Sevierville, Tennessee, at Sevier County High School, 1200 Dolly Parton Parkway. The event is a road running race of 5K with the exact course still to be determined; the race will begin at Sevier County High School at a location to be announced.
Packet pickup is planned the day before at the SCHS football stadium and on race day at Sevier County High School. Presale registration is listed at $25. Additional registration price tiers are noted as increasing closer to the event and include processing fees. No refunds are available.
All pre-registered participants are to receive a race t-shirt and a custom participation medallion that also serves as a Christmas ornament; registrations made after November 19, 2026 are not guaranteed those items. Race day registrants may receive shirts and medallions while supplies last. SWAG will not be mailed.
Strollers are allowed and only service dogs are permitted. The event will be held in rain, snow, sleet, or shine. Refreshments will be provided following the race.
Awards include overall winners and first place male and female in all ages, plus first place male and female in the following age groups: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, and 90 and up.
