Smith Rock Classic
The Smith Rock Classic is a springtime trail running event held at Skull Hollow near Terrebonne, Oregon, with courses that travel through Smith Rock State Park and the Crooked River Grasslands. The route scenery includes basalt cliffs, views of the Cascade range, and high desert terrain around the park.

The 10 mile course departs from Skull Hollow and climbs to the top of Gray Butte, with a saddle and the Gray Butte aid station early on. The route mixes single track and dirt road, and features about 2200 feet of elevation gain and loss with one aid station.
The 50K starts and finishes at Skull Hollow, follows single track toward Smith Rock and Misery Ridge, and returns via River Trail and Summit Trail. The course reports about 4500 feet of gain and loss, with roughly 80% single track and 20% gravel road, and four full aid stations.
The 50 mile race is two 25 mile loops beginning and ending at Skull Hollow. Its route passes Gray Butte, Smith Rock, and local grasslands, with approximately 7500 feet of gain and loss, 80% single track, 20% gravel road, and eight full plus one minimal aid station.
