Event overview
The Slate Trail Ultra is an endurance trail running event organised by APEX Running in Snowdonia. The event centre is at Porth Penrhyn, Bangor. The race is scheduled for 14–15 November 2026. Two route options follow parts or the complete Slate Trail and both include marked aid stations and cut-off limits.

The longer route has about 3,900 m+ (approximately 12,800 ft+) of elevation gain and the shorter route has about 2,300 m+ (approximately 7,500 ft+). The 147 km option has 8 aid stations and provision for a drop bag; the 80 km option has 4 aid stations. Cut-off limits are listed as a 36 hour limit for the longer route and a 24 hour limit for the shorter route. UTMB points are indicated for both routes, with the 147 km covering the complete Slate Trail and the 80 km covering Slate Trail highlights.
