The Slate Trail Ultra, organised by APEX Running, is a trail ultrarunning event on the Snowdonia Slate Trail. The event is based at Porth Penrhyn, Bangor, and takes place on 15-16 November 2025. Two route options are offered with different elevation gains and support arrangements. The route names on the event page are "Slate Trail Ultra" and "Ultra Tour of the Quarries."

- 147 km / 91 mi - elevation gain 3,900 m+, 8 aid stations, drop bag, 36 hour cut-off
- 80 km / 50 mi - elevation gain 2,300 m+, 4 aid stations, 24 hour cut-off
Entry prices listed are £199.00 for the Slate Trail Ultra and £129.00 for the Ultra Tour of the Quarries. The event has an age restriction of 18 years and above.
