Yr Wyddfa Ultra 50

Yr Wyddfa Ultra 50 is a 45-mile mountain ultramarathon in Snowdonia National Park (Eryri), with around 3,254 metres of ascent and space for up to 500 entrants. The route starts and finishes at Cae Llan/Village Green, Betws-y-Coed, following the Snowdonia Slate Trail from the Swallow Falls area up to Tryfan’s Heather Terrace, the Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon summit, Glyder Fach and Glyder Fawr, Devil’s Kitchen and Llyn Idwal, then across to Llyn Crafnant and Llyn Geirionydd. Runners are tracked live via GB Race Tracker, with five checkpoints and strict cut-offs.

The event is cupless, offers Gold/Silver/Bronze medals, and awards UTMB/ITRA Mountain Points; it’s part of GB Ultras’ 50-mile Slam. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
