The Yr Wyddfa Ultra 50 is a challenging 45-mile ultramarathon held in Snowdonia National Park, Wales, starting and finishing in the picturesque village of Betws-y-Coed. Featuring 3,254 meters of ascent, the mountain trail course includes iconic landmarks such as Heather Terrace on Tryfan, the summit of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), Glyder Fach and Glyder Fawr, Devil’s Kitchen, and Llyn Idwal, before following scenic trails alongside Llyn Crafnant and Llyn Geirionydd. The event accommodates 500 runners with a 21-hour cut-off time and requires participants to have prior ultramarathon and mountain experience.
