Caernarfon Half Marathon
The event is a Half Marathon held on 6 September 2026 in Caernarfon. The race starts and finishes next to Caernarfon Castle. The course description notes a few small uphill sections and some long downhill sections. A technical T-shirt and a bespoke medal are provided for all finishers. The listed entry fee is £42.
Race information
Race HQ opens at 8:00 next to the start/finish for number and chip pickup. Parking is in public town car parks, which are signposted; participants are asked not to park next to the start/finish. Drink stations are placed at approximately every 3 miles and at the finish. Toilets are portaloos near the start/finish, with additional public toilets nearby. First Aid is provided by a professional medical team, with stations at the start, finish and on course; runners are asked to complete medical details on their race number.
There will be some road closures, but not all roads are closed to traffic; closures will not affect driving to the car parks. Headphones are not allowed except for bone-conducting types. Runners are asked to leave litter at water stations or with marshals; deliberate littering outside these areas may lead to disqualification. Baggage can be left at a baggage area but valuables are not advised. Results will be published later in the day and a prize presentation is scheduled for around 12:15.
