Skyline 50k Endurance Run - Castro Valley, CA
Skyline 50k is a trail event held on August 2, 2026, at Lake Chabot Marina in Castro Valley. The race and a half marathon use a large loop through East Bay Regional Parks that reaches Skyline Gate. The course includes sustained climbing and natural singletrack and fire roads, with the route starting and finishing at the marina.

Volunteer crews staff aid stations and intersections, with several community groups and a Volunteer Safety Patrol supporting runners. Every finisher receives a race shirt, a pair of Skyline socks, and a finisher medal. Awards are given to overall winners and age group leaders (three-deep).
Logistics include a digital race briefing in late July and an optional bib pickup the day before at Sports Basement Berkeley; bibs are also available on race morning. The event is part of the P-USATF Grand Prix and both races carry a UTMB index. Organizers generally do not offer refunds; deferrals are allowed more than 30 days out but not within 30 days.
