The event features staffed aid stations supported by local Bay Area running groups, a Volunteer Safety Patrol at key intersections, and radio communications handled by volunteer ham radio operators. Runners receive a race shirt, Skyline socks, and a finishers medal. Awards are given to overall winners and three deep by age group.
The finish area includes plant based BBQ and beer, and the race is presented as a plant based event. Families are welcome. Training runs are free and self supported; training announcements are shared through the event Strava club.
Skyline participates in the P USATF Grand Prix and is listed as a UTMB Index event. Bib pickup is available at a nearby Sports Basement location or on race day, and someone may pick up a bib for another entrant. Refunds are not generally offered; outside 30 days entries may be deferred, and no deferrals are allowed within 30 days of race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
