The event is a chipped-timed 5K run or walk. It is an official qualifier for the 2027 AJC Peachtree Road Race. The route begins and ends at the Skyland Trail J. Rex Fuqua Campus for Adolescents on Dresden Drive in Atlanta, winding through nearby neighborhoods. The event is open to all, and individuals under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Participants with strollers or wagons are asked to start at the back.

Registration and Logistics

Registration is available for a $35 fee, which increases after September 3, 2026. On-site walk-up registration is available for $50. A virtual participation option is also offered. Free parking is available at the Chamblee Boys and Girls Club on Dresden Drive. Water is available, but participants are encouraged to bring a personal water bottle. In case of extreme weather, the event may be delayed or canceled.

Location and Policies

The event takes place at the Skyland Trail J. Rex Fuqua Campus in Atlanta, Georgia. The campus is nicotine-free, and smoking or vaping is not permitted.
